What is an air conditioning drainage pump used for?

An air conditioning drainage pump is useful in a variety of systems, including both cooling and heating units. Its main benefit is its ability to remove condensate when gravity drainage is unavailable or the water needs to flow upwards. Condensate pumps can therefore be used when the drain is above the air conditioning unit, and in buildings where external drains are not permitted.
