Product description

The GOLDMAN SERVICE speed controller provides progressive control of compatible AC motors using TRIAC phase-angle technology.

It is designed for a 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz supply, with a recommended minimum load of 70 W for stable control. Its maximum capacity is 8 A and up to 1500 W.

Control is provided by a three-position switch and a rotary potentiometer. In the OFF position, the equipment is switched off. In Variable mode, speed is adjusted using the potentiometer. In Full Power mode, the controller supplies mains voltage directly to the connected equipment.

This controller is intended exclusively for universal brushed AC motors designed for TRIAC phase-angle control. It can be used with duct, ventilation or extraction fans only when the motor meets these technical requirements and has a minimum power rating of 70 W.

It must not be used with brushless, EC, PSC, capacitor-start or capacitor-run, induction, shaded-pole, soft-start or slow-start motors.

Always check the motor specifications before using the controller. If the motor stops rotating when you reduce the setting, immediately increase the setting or switch off the equipment. Never leave a stationary motor energised, as this can cause overheating and motor damage. The supplier explicitly warns of this risk.

The device has IPX0 protection and is designed exclusively for indoor use. It is Class I equipment and requires a protective earth connection. It includes a replaceable 8 A fast-blow fuse.
