Description

This eccentric flaring tool for air conditioning tubes allows you to precisely widen the ends of copper, brass and aluminium pipes. It is suitable for air conditioning, heating and refrigeration installations requiring secure, leak-tight joints.
GOLDMAN SERVICE Eccentric Flaring Tool for Air Conditioning and Heating Tubes. Copper Tube Expander with Ratchet Handle for Plumbing, 1/4″ to 3/4″.
Product dimensions: 18 x 14 x 8.5 cm; 1.8 kilograms
Material: Metal
Precise flaring for professional installations
The eccentric mechanism progressively distributes pressure around the tube end and helps create a uniform flare. The ratchet handle makes work easier, and its clutch releases automatically when flaring is complete.
The bar incorporates the most commonly used measures in air conditioning and cooling installations: 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8” and 3/4”. This allows working with different diameters without the need to use several independent tools.
Compatible applications and materials
The flaring tool can be used with thin-walled copper, brass and aluminium tubes. Particularly recommended for air conditioning technicians, heating and refrigeration installers, plumbers and maintenance professionals.
Its chrome-plated steel construction withstands continuous use. The tool consists of a clamping bar with different sizes, a screw with an expanding cone and an operating handle.
Before starting, check that the selected diameter matches the tube. Make a straight cut, remove burrs and position the tube with the required length projecting to form the flare. Then tighten the bar to prevent the tube moving during work.
Compatibility and maintenance
This tool is designed to make single or double flares on compatible tubes. Before buying, check the diameters used in your installation and the tube material.
After each use, clean the tool and remove any metallic residue. Keep the moving parts lightly lubricated and keep it in a dry place to protect the mechanism and preserve the precision of the expander cone.
