Hydrogenerator compatible with Bosch and Junkers
The GOLDMAN SERVICE HDJ-X hydrogenerator compatible with Bosch and Junkers is a replacement part for selected gas water heaters. It uses the flow of water to generate electrical energy for the appliance ignition or control system, without batteries in the hydrogenerator itself.
It comes with an O-ring and a U-shaped metal clip. The model is WGKA-A-D-B (A). Before buying, check the reference of the fitted part and the dimensions and connections of your water heater.
Gas water heater hydrogenerator: battery-free operation
When water passes through the component, the flow drives an internal turbine that converts this movement into electrical energy. This energy is used in the ignition or control system of the compatible heater. The hydrogenerator does not heat the water directly; that is the function of the gas appliance.
An arrow on the housing indicates the flow direction. The red and black cable ends in a two-pin connector, so compare both the hydraulic and electrical connections with those of the part being replaced.

Installation and checks
Installation and checks must be carried out by qualified personnel. Before working on the water heater, turn off the water and gas supplies and disconnect any electrical supply.
Fit the component in the direction shown by the flow arrow, with the seal and clip correctly positioned. Before returning the appliance to service, check that it is securely fitted, leak-free and operating correctly. Do not install a component with a damaged housing, cable, connector, seal or clip.
